Christopher Arnett

Christopher Arnett is a composer and dancer based in Issaquah, Washington. He studied music and mantra practices in India and Nepal for a year, most intensively with mystic musician Parvathy Baul and Sanskrit scholar Ravi Ramanam. He has spent the last decade studying with Butoh dancers, applying their aesthetic and choreographic techniques to music composition. He has composed and performed compositions for the Seattle and Vienna Butoh Festivals, performing in venues as diverse as Breitenbush Hot Springs in Oregon and the Dairy Arts Center in Colorado.
